I haven't made a post since August? What is even going on? I really need to start being more consistent with this blog! Here are some outfits for you folks!

I wore this for my birthday in late September. I went out to dinner and then went to the grocery store to get a birthday cake and I probably looked a little overdressed. ;) I got a lot of compliments from people in the store though, haha!

 This year's Halloween costume! I wore the same dress as in my first picture with some random accessories. I thought I looked pretty cute! :) My antlers look a little crooked in this picture, but whatever!

So it's been pretty hot out here lately. These shorts from Torrid are pretty awesome. I'm still kind of self conscious about my thighs, but sometimes I'm just like, well, it's hot out, so who cares? I think I looked pretty cute.

Sorry for not posting in so long! I know, I say that every time I post. I guess that just means that I really need to post more often.

Also, in other news, I've decided to grow my hair out, and it looks so awkward right now. Ugh! Any tips on the hair-growing-out process?

I wanted to let you folks know that I haven't abandoned this blog! I've been pretty busy (and feeling gross) lately, so I've been wearing jeans and t-shirts. Now that it's almost spring, I'm feeling a little less yucky and I want to wear cute stuff! It was actually over 60 degrees today, even though it was snowing, like, yesterday. That's Indiana for you.

Also, I'm attempting to grow out my hair again. We'll see how long it gets before I get tired of it and chop it off.

 Holy lack of update, Batman! Sorry folks, I've been pretty busy and stressed out lately, so I have been dressing like a mess most days.

I wore this the day after Xmas. You can just ignore the fact that my hair was NOT behaving at all! I got the shirt and skirt for Xmas. The shirt is really cute and comfy, and I'm really liking this skirt. I've ordered from Eshakti once before, and everything I've gotten from them has been great quality.

Today's outfit! Sorry I keep wearing this skirt haha, but I love it. I got this leatherette top from F21+ for Xmas, and it's really versatile! The weather has been weirdly warm here, so I put on this knit biker jacket that I got from Torrid way back. People kept complimenting me on my outfit. :'D

Anyways, I should really start taking pictures before it gets dark outside, because my camera is really bad at indoor pictures and the flash gives me red eyes every time. Hopefully my next pictures will look better, and I'll try to update more often!

Yesterday's outfit. I really like this tights; mustard is pretty much the best color. Also, this dress from Torrid is really cute, but the sleeves are a little too long maybe.

Belated Halloween Post!

Halloween. It's my favorite time of year. I love dressing up, watching horror movies, painting pumpkins, playing spooky music, and eating candy. Unnhh, I love Halloween! Now that it's over, I'll be impatiently awaiting next Halloween. :') I know it was a few days ago, but I haven't had a chance to make this post yet! I've got a cold this week so I don't want to do anything except be lazy and sleep, ugh. Anyways, here are my costumes.

This was my Halloween party costume this year! I'm actually a little bit obsessed with Alice in Wonderland so I thought I might as well dress up as her. The sleeves on the dress were tight so I had to destroy the elastic before wearing, haha. And the apron kept falling down so it's tied weirdly in the back. Ohh well. I'm pretty impressed by this wig I grabbed off of ebay for this costume; even with the flash, it looks pretty natural. I believe the shop was called wigfashion, in case you ever need a fairly inexpensive but nice wig! 

 

 

This is a costume I threw together for Halloween night. We went to my sister's house to help her hand out candy, since we live in the middle of nowhere and don't get any trick-or-treaters. I wasn't sure if I was going to dress up, but then I remembered I have this pirate hat and I dug up some piratey stuff from my closet. It doesn't look too bad for being put together in a few minutes, right?

I don't like how my beret is flopped in this picture; it looks like a military beret! Oh well. It was pretty cold outside that day and I was freezing. Indiana weather! One day it's summer and the next day it's snowing, I swear. Maybe I'm exaggerating. Or maybe I'm not.

It's been a long, long time since I've worn flares. Every pair I ever try on is too long on me and too short-waisted, but these fit great! This shirt is cute but the print isn't continued onto the back. :/

These shorts are mega cute, but I had some trouble with them. Two belt loops popped off and the stitching on the hem fell out! Everything I've gotten from ASOS so far has been of pretty good quality, so I don't know what happened. I wanted a pair in black, too, but now I'm not sure.

I really love this dress! I love the colors and fit. I really wanted to wear this collar with it, so I tried to throw in some black accessories to go with the black on the collar. And that's when I realized that I don't have any decent black heels; these aren't the most comfortable, so I switched to some black flats later. I think it's time to go shoe-shopping!

Also, note: you may notice my pit-hair popping out. That's right, I'm a hairy beast, haha. I haven't shaved my legs in well over a year but the hair is so light you really can't tell in photos. Somehow it feels really brave and freeing to walk around in public with body hair. :) I'm rambling now! 

It shouldn't be above 90 degrees anymore (if I don't curse it by saying that), so maybe I'll be putting more effort into my appearance and posting more often.

So I wore this yesterday to go to a movie and do some other stuff. I'm really liking this dress; I love the way it looks on me. The only problem is it's a bit shorter than I wanted, so I put on another skirt to add a couple inches. Also, I'm never too fond of dresses that tie in the back, because I feel like that limits the ways you can style it, but whatever.

My hair is becoming unmanageable already, so I want to chop it all off! Growing out your hair is such a pain. I guess if I get too tired of it looking awkward, I'll cut it short again.

So I got pretty sick a little over a week ago, which is why I've been on hiatus for a little bit! I seem to be recovered now. I keep getting sick this summer, boo. Today I left the comfort of my air conditioning to go do some stuff, so here's what I wore:

Fat Girl In Crop Top! :)

Ugh, it's been sooo hot out lately! It was around 99 degrees yesterday but I had to get out to go to an appointment and do errands. I decided to wear jeans, which was kind of not a good decision, but oh well. I wore this crop top, which is totally outside of the 'fat people rules' but I don't care. This belly wants to be free.

I just got this dress from the ASOS sale and I'm loving the colors! The only problem is that it's a little tight the boob area, which is weird because their clothes usually run kind of big on me. It's not uncomfortable though, so it's a keeper.

I haven't posted in a few days, so here you go! I wore this today to go to an appointment and do some errands and stuff. (I don't know why my boob looks weird...whatever, lol.)

These shoes are totally cute, but the design doesn't make sense. They're higher in the back than the front so that they dig into the backs of my ankles. Ugh!

Oh yeah, I've got a question for you folks! Should I grow my hair out or keep it short?  I'm not sure if I'm patient enough for the growing process, and it's already starting to look kind of awkward. I'm not sure if I should just chop it off or keep growing it out. What should I do?
